London:
The capital is within easy reach: there are regular trains
from Clacton Station, which is a five-minute walk from
Adelaide Guesthouse. The journey takes approximately one
hour and terminates at Liverpool Street Station in the
centre of London. Coaches to London may be boarded in
Clacton town centre, or for those with their own transport
London is approximately 80 miles' drive via the A133 and
the A12.
Transport:
As well as Clacton mainline station, which is a five-minute
walk from Adelaide Guesthouse, Clacton-on-Sea is amply
provided with buses to local towns and villages and a
regular and very reasonably priced coach service to destinations
such as Colchester, London and Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Licensed taxicabs are also readily available.
